I studied Art Education and History at Eastern Michigan University. While there, I began working as a laser engraver at Stadium Trophy in Ypsilanti, Michigan. After completing my student teaching in 2010, I accepted a position as an engraver with Midwest Graphics and Awards in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I was eventually promoted to Director of Operations, where I currently hold that position.

Since starting at Stadium Trophy back in 2006 I’ve been mostly self-taught in graphic design while learning programs such as Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.

In addition to graphic design, I’ve also developed an interest in web design and development becoming familiar with basic HTML before moving onto WordPress as that started to become more popular after 2010.

Since 2009 I’ve become very involved in blogging, podcasting, and videocasting. During that time I’ve started an independent sports media company called The Majors Sports Network, which won an award in 2011 as the best sports blog in Detroit. We’ve also been cited and published in FOXSports.com as well as Yahoo Sports. I myself have also written for Lindy’s Magazine.

Over the past decade, I’ve written thousands of blog entries and recorded hundreds of pod and videocasts which has expanded my insight with audio and video production and editing.

Lastly, I’m an extremely hard worker, dedicated, and versatile professional with strong attention to detail.

Much of my photography was created using a Canon EOS 20D and edited in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop with most of it being captured across various locations in the Metro Detroit area.

My graphic design was created primarily using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, and Canva. Procreate was primarily used for constructing rough ideas while final vector images were created exclusively in Illustrator. Illustrator in addition to Canva was also used for developing layouts for posters, fliers, and web graphics.

CapCut, Adobe Premier, Final Cut, and Audacity were used for all audio and video production.
